Forums are not complicated things, but for first time users they can be challenging. This whole page is reccomended for first-time users, as it has everything you should need. Anymore questions you have should be asked at the forums.
What are forums?
A forum is kinda like instant messaging. You post a topic like "Cows are special", and then other people will reply to it maybe saying "I don't like cows" or something like that. You can also pm someone, which is just like chat. You pm them a message, and only you and the reciever of the message can see it. You can also put links, glow text, music, images, and much more in every post you make! You can even have a signature that will appear in your every post without you having to type it over and over again!
Getting Started:
Once you arive at the forums, click the register button at the top of the page. Type in your desired username and your email adress. (Your password will be e-mailed to you so you can login). Then click register. NOTE: You must first select if you want a forum like mine for yourself, and you must agree to the terms of agreement to get your own account. Then wait until your email arrives.
Loging In:
Once you get your password, or after you logout, you must log in again to post. To login, click login Type in your username and password, and login!
NOTE: If you uncheck always stay logged in, you will only be logged in for 350 minutes, unless you set it for a different number. I always stay logged in remains checked, you will stay logged in unless you log out yourself.
Posting/Editing:
If there are new posts in a specific forum topic you will see this image: . If there are no new posts you will see this image: .
Once you click on a forum topic you will be taken to another page. You will see a bunch of topics. Replies means the number of posts people have made on that thread. Views means the number of times someone clicked the topic. To the left of the topic you will see 2 images. The first images can be (thread will always stay at the top of the page), (more than 15 replies), (more than 25 replies), (a poll), (you may not post on this thread), and (none of the above). The second image is just a picture the user can pick to make their thread stand out. Also some threads have the new sign .
To create your own thread click the new thread button If you do not want to make your own thread, you can reply to another one by clicking reply
If you want to edit a post, click modify or you can quote their post .
If you want to delete your own thread (or mods can delete threads that aren't theirs), click delete
Your Profile:
For editing your profile, click the profile button . Everything else is pretty self-explanatory!
